What are individually wrapped wet wipes?
Single-use wet wipes, each packed in its own sachet. They are offered for cleaning hands and freshening up after a meal; because the company logo can be printed on the sachet, they also work as a promotional product.

Water-based or alcohol-based?
Single wipes are made with two types of solution. The choice depends on how the product should feel and what the target customer expects.
Alcohol-free single wipe solution. 20 kg of premix is added to 980 kg of water. It comes in 22 ready-scented options with the fragrance already blended in, so you don't need to add fragrance separately.
Cologne-type single wipe solution. 400 kg of premix is added to 600 kg of water. It dries fast and leaves hands feeling cool and clean.
Ready-made scents include options such as Bodrum Mandarin, Ocean Fresh, Green Tea, Lemon Fresh and Rose Garden. The full list and prices are in the member area.
Single wipe production steps
The single wipe machine folds the fabric, wets it and packs each wipe in its own sachet.
- Solution preparationFor water-based: 980 kg of water + 20 kg of ANKA TIM 0020, mixed for 15 minutes.
- Fabric feedingThe nonwoven reel is fed into the machine; wipe size and folding are set.
- Folding and wettingThe wipe is folded and the solution is dosed.
- Sachet packingEach wipe is wrapped in printed sachet film and sealed.
- Inspection and boxingSachet seals are checked; the wipes are boxed and packed into cartons.
Why can you start with low investment?
Single wipes can be launched with a simpler production setup than wet wipe packs. They are one of the options at the low end of the investment range.
Folding, wetting and sachet packing are all done on one single wipe machine.
Production can be planned in a smaller area than a lidded pack line needs.
No lids or resealable labels; sachet film, boxes and cartons are all you need.
With the fragrance already blended into the solution, you don't need to keep a separate fragrance stock.
Common mistakes
The most common problems in single wipe production.
- Choosing the wrong solution type. Don't offer a water-based wipe to a customer who expects a cologne feel, or an alcohol-based wipe to one who expects an alcohol-free product.
- Adding fragrance to a ready-scented solution. The scented options of ANKA TIM 0020 already contain fragrance; extra fragrance makes the scent heavy and raises cost.
- Not checking sachet seals. A wipe dries out in a poorly sealed sachet; check the seal in every batch.
- Planning the print design too late. Build the design and supply time of the logo sachet film into your production schedule.
- Forgetting box and carton costs. With single wipes, packaging cost is spread across the sachet, the display box and the carton; factor it in.
